Microsoft, which is currently aggressively pursuing AI through Copilot, looks like it will include AI technology in its Notepad. What would this text editor application look like if artificial intelligence was inserted?
Microsoft is Integrating ChatGPT into Notepad
Rumors about Microsoft adding AI to Notepad come from Windows latest. They reported that this text editor will receive a new update based on their findings on features that still need to be released in the application.
The reason is that this popular application will get a ChatGPT-type feature which is still hidden. Like Cocreator which has been touted through Copilot, they found files named "CoWriterCreditLimitDialog", "CoWriterDropDownButton", and "CoWriterWaitlistDialog" as well as several UI elements that suggest the existence of feature leads to AI chatbot.
The indications are that if this is true, we will find various features that will allow us to write prompts to create truly unique and original writing. The Drop Down Button feature also indicates that this feature will become a separate menu that users can access.
Still just a rumor, not yet available for testing
At this time, the artificial intelligence feature in question cannot be tried yet and may only be available to Insiders sometime in the future. Microsoft previously wanted to include Copilot as much as possible in their software.
The first of course is Paint which now has AI capabilities. Furthermore, Notepad could be a target considering the various capabilities that can make Notepad a powerful tool.
What do you think about this? Is it right for Microsoft to include everything related to AI in their products? Try giving your opinion brot.
