Cyberpunk 2077 Review – Time to Boost the RTX VGA Card

Since the release of the Cyberpunk 2077 trailer in 2018, gamers have been quite impressed by the world presented by this game made by CD Projekt Red. Frankly, the developer from Poland has successfully released an RPG game called The Witcher 3 which provides all the aspects that should be in a game. For some gamers, the emergence of Cyberpunk 2077 is the embodiment of The Witcher which is based on the cyberpunk theme or super-advanced technology. The shadow that appears is a vast and immersive world accompanied by interactive NPCs as well as a lively environment.

Cyberpunk 2077 is here as a game that wants to break the boundaries of high-resolution ray-tracing technology. Even the most expensive graphics card, the RTX 3090, is quite overwhelmed when running this RPG game with the highest graphics quality and 4K resolution. As a result, for us, this game is similar to the Crysis game that was released in 2007 where the highest graphics card could not achieve the smoothest performance.

The emergence of Cyberpunk 2077 cannot be separated from a lot of controversy, especially in terms of bugs at the beginning of its release. Many gamers are disappointed with this game because of these problems. However, the funny thing is, many gamers actually quite enjoy playing this game because actually from the aspect of the story it is quite interesting. Without further ado, instead of being curious about this game made by CD Projekt Red, we from  SixthGameOn will present an article about Cyberpunk 2077. Curious? Follow this article to the end!

Cyberpunk 2077: A Mercenary in the Middle of a Dystopian World

Cyberpunk 2077 itself is a game based on a tabletop game created by Mike Pondsmith. Here you will play a mercenary named V whose gender you can choose. In addition, you can choose where V's life path begins, whether from a nomad who likes to move around, a Street Kid who likes to make a fuss, or even a former corporate agent, Corpo.

However, what we regret is that the choice of origin of V doesn't have much effect because the storyline of the three paths of life will find the same point. Even so, there are several aspects that change when we choose the origin of V, namely how V interacts with the people around him.

At the beginning of the story you will meet Jackie who gives you hope that you can become a rich man. Of course, the path to abundance is not easy.

In order to become a billionaire, V must go through various dangers that can even kill himself. The danger will not make V rich, but also increase his reputation. V must accept a job by the Fixers in a hi-tech city called Night City.

On the way while carrying out these dangerous missions, V met a frontman from a rock band named Johnny Silverhand. Unfortunately, the veteran rocker will not only meet at a glance, but will disturb you by showing himself in the form of a hologram. The question is, can you get rich in a high-tech city called Night City through various obstacles?

Not an Open World Game Like GTA

Although Cyberpunk 2077 has elements of free roam or open world, but for those of you who want to play this game, don't expect this game to be like GTA. You can't be as free here as GTA even though you can travel around the world of this game made by CD Projekt Red freely.

Here you can freely hijack cars, but there are some things that we think are less realistic, namely the NPC's response to us. In addition, the physical aspects in this game are not as detailed as GTA V. Therefore, we hope you don't have high expectations for this game as an open world game because Cyberpunk 2077 itself emphasizes the storyline aspect.

However, some of the shortcomings of Cyberpunk 2077 do not mean that you leave this game. The gameplay and storyline are quite deep. Each mission is still fun to play and quite stressful. Especially wrapped in a world full of neon lights.

Plus, for those of you who have high-end rigs, you can enjoy the very beautiful world of Cyberpunk 2077. The shadows of neon lights on the road will look very realistic thanks to ray tracing technology. Unfortunately, this game cannot be optimized in terms of performance if you want to get the best graphic quality without DLSS and 4K resolution.

Conclusion: Should I Buy Cyberpunk 2077 Immediately?

As an RPG game, Cyberpunk 2077 is a breath of fresh air for gamers. This game provides gameplay that is actually very fun to play, even though behind it there are many bugs. Unfortunately, the last patch released is still not fixing. Is this game worth buying? For those of you who have excess money, why not try?
